Your first workup is free.
One complete workup of one deck: a verdict, a score across eight weighted dimensions, the deck's claims checked against public sources, and the questions to put to the founder. Before it starts, you add a card, which is not charged. The second deck is where the prices below start.

When founding prices rise
Founding prices rise later. We will say so on this page at least 14 calendar days before they do. A monthly plan bought at a founding price keeps that price for as long as it stays subscribed without a break. A payment our payment processor is still retrying is not a break, and switching between monthly plans keeps you on founding prices. Cancel, or let the plan end unpaid, and the founding price ends with it; a new plan later is at the price of the day.
The weights and gates are published, the sample workup is a real run, and the three founders are named on the home page.
Questions people ask before they buy
Is it worth the price?
A freelance analyst's report on one deck costs $350 to $3,000. A workup costs $25 to $43, and a $129 pack is under 1% of a $25,000 check.
Do I need a card for the free workup?
Yes. Before your free workup starts, you add a card on our payment processor's page. It is not charged. AngelSift never sees or stores your card number.
What happens when I use up my plan's workups?
Workups pause. Your plan page offers a 3-pack, or the 10-run plan if you are on the 5-run one; nothing is charged on its own. Unused workups carry over for up to 3 months. Pack workups never expire.
Is there a limit on chat?
Chat is where you ask follow-up questions about a workup. Each paid workup comes with 20 chat messages, and your free first workup with 5. Across your account, chat is capped at 25 messages a day and 200 a month.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from the plan page. You keep access to the end of the period you paid for. The monthly plan renews until you cancel it, and the founding price goes with it when you do.
Can I get a refund?
Not for workups you have used, and not for part of a period you have started. One exception: if your plan's price goes up, cancel within 14 days after the first charge at the new price, and we'll refund the unused part of that period.
Is my deal flow safe with you?
Decks are used only for your workup and for Angel's answers about that deal. They are never sold or used to train anything. How we protect it, in plain words →
Does AngelSift check whether I am an accredited investor?
No. AngelSift verifies no one's status. It is a tool for your own startup due diligence; the decision, and the paperwork, stay with you.
Is AI reliable?
The workup is written by AI, and AI can be wrong. So every finding shows its source, every deck is graded by the same published rules, and a claim that could not be checked is never shown as confirmed. When a score lands within 3 points of a cutoff, the workup says it is too close to call.
My lawyer or syndicate lead already does this.
Your lawyer reads the documents, not whether the deck's numbers hold up. A syndicate lead chose the deal and wants the round to fill. AngelSift is paid by you, not by the company raising, and takes no cut of any deal.
